Gina K’s objective when engaging with ipso was to consolidate her four websites into a better, more cohesive user experience, which ultimately reduces redundancy in administration management. Additionally, the team was looking to maintain some legacy community engagement functionality, and grow that connectivity with her audience and customer base.
The ipso team architected the website content so that content load (images/videos/products, etc.) is not redundant for administrators. Additionally, the website design and UX encourages visitors to remain within the site to view most all of Gina K. content.
The website is built on the Wordpress CMS utilizing WooCommerce to manage the product catalog. Ipso helped build custom Photo Gallery and Forum functionality for community engagement within the site. Technical integrations include leveraging the MailChimp API and extending WooCommerce’s reporting capability with a custom report.
As part of the project, ipso also helped refine Gina K’s brand logo to ensure all elements of the brand experience are cohesive. Dynamic intro and outro video animation elements were created to help ensure brand cohesion across website and video mediums.
Gina K. Designs is now growing her subscriber base via website opt-ins and customer registrations. The brand now has a refreshed email marketing campaign utilizing MailChimp for ongoing communications with her growing audience.
